European publisher SelectaPlay have today revealed the physical Limited Edition contents for OVERLORD: ESCAPE FROM NAZARICK, a metroidvania styled game that will be released later this year for the Nintendo Switch.
As areminder OVERLORD: ESCAPE FROM NAZARICK, which is a metroidvania styled game, was originally released as a digital-only title onto the Nintendo eShop back in 2022 and takes inspiration and elements from the OVERLORD anime series to display them as a 2D sprite adventure.
About: OVERLORD: ESCAPE FROM NAZARICK is a 2D dark fantasy action adventure, where Players will act as the warrior Clementine who wakes up inside the underground Great Tomb of Nazarick. She has been imprisoned by a mysterious undead called Ainz Ooal Gown, who forces her to participate in brutal experiments. Without her weapons and suffering from amnesia, she must defeat Ainz and his many challenging servants as she makes her way to freedom.
The newly confirmed physical Limited Edition will include a copy of the game (along with a printed manual), an Adventure’s Guild pendant (Adamantite Rank), a Soundtrack CD, an Art Book, and a Digital Code containing both digital variations of the Soundtrack and Art Book. All of which will be presented in a collector’s box.
A specific release date for this physical version of OVERLORD: ESCAPE FROM NAZARICK has not yet been confirmed, but SelectaPlay plan to release it within Europe in early 2024. In the meantime OVERLORD: ESCAPE FROM NAZARICK is available digitally from the Nintendo eShop.
