Publisher RED ART GAMES have recently revealed that they will release MACROSS -Shooting Insight- physically and digitally within Europe and North America onto the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
Developed in partnership with BIG WEST and Bushiroad Games, with western publishing duties being handled by RED ART GAMES, Macross -Shooting Insight- is expected to be an arcade styled shooter game with visual novel elements that feature characters and crafts from the popular franchise.

Play as pilots from different time periods and go through stages made up of multiple scenes, with each scene featuring distinct game types that utilize the different modes of each pilot’s Valkyrie. Stages include multiple game styles, such as horizontally scrolling shooting, vertically scrolling shooting, and 360-degree scrolling shooting.
