Anime Limited, otherwise known as All The Anime, have today begun accepting pre-orders for the Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray release of Rental Magica and revealed that it will be released in two parts from May 2024.
As revealed on the AllTheAnime Store the Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray of Rental Magica will be released in two parts, each of which contain12 episodes across 3 Blu-Ray discs in English & Japanese (with English subtitles), with Part 1 scheduled for release on 20th May 2024 and Part 2 scheduled for release a month later on 17th June 2024.
At the time of writing both product pages on the All The Anime Store contain the same info and artwork, but Part 1 will also include 4 art cards and a 132-page art book. Both sets will see the discs inside an amaray case that slide into a rigid art box.
Synopsis: Destroying supernatural monsters, dispelling dark magic, It’s all in a day’s work for the mages of Astral! However, after the mysterious disappearance of the company president, they’re left in a lurch. His son, Itsuki Iba, begrudgingly fills in, but Itsuki’s unfamiliarity with magic could spell bad news for Astral – especially with their rival Goetia vying for the very same contracts. As the jobs grow ever more dangerous, they soon find that staying in business is the least of their worries.
This will be the first time that Rental Magica has been available in the UK, but in the US the series was released on DVD and Blu-Ray via FUNimation (now known as Crunchyroll). Regardless, Anime Limited will be releasing Rental Magica on Blu-Ray in the UK as Collector’s Edition releases starting with Part 1 on 20th May 2024 and Part 2 on 17th June 2024.
