MVM Entertainment to Release Made in Abyss (Season 2), Tenjho Tenge and more on Blu-Ray in the UK in 2024

MVM Entertainment have taken to social media to reveal that they will release Himouto! Umaru-chan R, Is it Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon (Season 4), Made in Abyss (Season 2), Tenjho Tenge, The Demon Girl Next-Door 2 and Wolf Girl & Black Prince on Blu-Ray in the UK later this year.

Specific details about each release were not mentioned, but Tenjho Tenge did say “CE” next to the title so we can assume that a Collector’s Edition styled release is planned for that. title. Other than Tenjho Tenge the other titles have previously been released in the US by Sentai Filmworks, so it would also be safe to assume that they discs will feature the same content as the US counterparts.

Himouto! Umaru-chan R: Umaru Doma isn’t a superhero, but she could be a super-villain if she wasn’t so lazy, and addicted to snack foods, comics, and video games. At school, she still appears to be the fashionable “Miss Perfect” her fellow students believe she is, but when she gets home, the popular girl façade comes off! Then the hamster cloak goes on, and her ogre-like otaku side is unleashed! So far, the only one who knows the whole truth is her loyal servant… er, older brother, Taihei, but lately Umaru’s been finding it harder to maintain the personalities that different people know her by, while her relationships with Nana, Kirie, and Sylphynford all seem to be getting closer. Is she getting… gasp! Nicer? Or is it all part of some diabolical plot in HIMOUTO! UMARU-CHAN R?

Is it Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon (Season 4): How low can someone go in the mammoth Dungeon of Orario and still return? With Bell recovering from his last fight, the Hestia Familia receives a mission that they can’t refuse: traveling deeper into the Dungeon than they ever have before! Fortunately, missions are what friends are for, and Hestia manages to borrow a few of the Miach and Takemikazuchi Familias’ heaviest hitters. Unfortunately, no one listens to Cassandra’s warnings once again and things immediately start to go wrong. Now the team is split, Ryu’s accused of a horrible crime, and Bell charges ahead to try clearing her name as everyone races to the lower floors.

Made in Abyss – The Golden City of the Scorching Sun: No one has ventured into the sixth layer of the Abyss and remain unchanged. No one returns from their Last Dive, and no one knows what happened to those who delved further. Even with the possession of a White Whistle, an ominous specter hovers above Riko, Reg and Nanachi as they advance down to the sixth layer, the Capital of the Unreturned. The pathways are more treacherous, the environment harsher, and the creatures even more dangerous, but the most unsettling thing of all is the ruins of the Golden City. Here each of the delvers will be forced to forge their own destinies and paths as they investigate the city’s mysterious origins and the strange beings who still dwell there. The answer to their questions, as always, lies somewhere ahead, down and forward, in MADE IN ABYSS: THE GOLDEN CITY OF THE SCORCHING SUN.

Tenjho Tenge: Souichiro and Bob want to rule their new school, but just as they begin cracking heads, their plan is shot to hell. First there’s the Natsume sisters and their Juuken Club. If the older sister, Maya, isn’t kicking their ass, then the younger sister, Aya, is trying to force feed Souichiro and make him her husband! Then there’s the Student Executive Council that sends executioners to “educate” anyone who questions the council’s authority! Their education is just beginning!

The Demon Girl Next-Door 2: Yuko thought that her life had been turned completely upside down when she learned that she and her entire family were demons, but it seems the universe has only begun to mess with her now horned head. For example, what’s a succubus supposed to do when she challenges one of the local Magical Girls to a duel, but they misinterpret it to be an invitation to hang out instead? Then there’s questions like what kind of restrictions should you put on ancestors who borrow your body? And let’s not even get into the issues of proper etiquette when the other local Magical Girl moves into one’s apartment complex or inheriting stupidly powerful magical artifacts! Basically, Yuko’s life is going to be hell as it’s just one bedeviling problem after another in the second season of THE DEMON GIRL NEXT DOOR!

Wolf Girl & Black Prince: Okay, perhaps making up a fake boyfriend to impress her new classmates was a dumb idea, but how was Erika to know that the guy in the photo she’d used was another student in her school? And who could have guessed that such a good-looking guy would turn out to be such a dog? Only it’s Erika who’s in the doghouse now, because that’s the price Kyoya Sata demands of her in exchange for keeping silent. That’s right, she’s literally his bitch, forced to run, fetch, and even bark at his command! And that’s not even the most mind-boggling part of the whole situation… because, for inexplicable reasons, she’s starting to like him! O.M.G.! Is this Puppy Love or Stockholm Syndrome? Find out when romance goes waaayyy off the leash in WOLF GIRL & BLACK PRINCE!

MVM Entertainment have yet to confirm when these titles will be released, but they are expected to be released throughout the rest of this year.
