It has been quite some time since Anime Limited (otherwise known as All The Anime) announced that they would be releasing Bleach and Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War on Blu-Ray in the UK, in fact it was over a year ago, and while we’ve been teased on what to expect we’ve yet to see any formal release plan. That is until today, as the distributor have revealed their UK release plans for both Bleach and Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War.
The newly published post on the Anime Limited Blog goes into great (and potentially confusing) detail about how they plan to release Bleach and Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War on Blu-Ray in the UK, so we’ve tried to break-it-down so it is more digestible.
Bleach:
Bleach will receive 13 Standard Edition Blu-Ray sets, with each set having an SRP of £49.99.
Parts 1, 6 and 10 will also receive a Collector’s Edition variation, each of which will include an art box that holds 5 sets (this is why the numbers 1 – 5 are listed on the spine of the art box for Part 1).
Collector’s Edition – Part 1:

Collector’s Edition Part 1 includes an Art Box (holds Parts 1 to 5), 220-Page Art Book & Art Cards
Contents exclusive to the Collector’s Edition are the Art Box (which holds Parts 1 – 5) and the 220-page art book. The Blu-Ray Set (including Art Cards) is the same set that will be available as a Standard Edition.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will be released in Part installments with Collector’s Edition, Standard Edition and HMV Exclusive Sleeve Standard Edition being available. At the time of writing it’s not known if the HMV Exclusive Edition Sleeve Edition will be continued for further releases.
