Those looking forward to the upcoming Blu-Ray release of Akiba Maid War, which is being released as both a Collector’s Edition and Standard Edition in the UK, will have to wait a little bit longer as both have received new release dates.
Originally both the Collector’s Edition and Standard Edition of Akiba Maid War were scheduled to be released on 19th August 2024 (as reported here). However, updated listings on the AllTheAnime Store and at online retailers (such as Amazon UK and Anime-On-Line) have now revealed that the Collector’s Edition will release on the 26th August 2024 with the Standard Edition releasing on the 9th September 2024.
A reason for the change in release date has not been mentioned, but a reminder of what each edition contains can be found listed below:

The Collector’s Edition of Akiba Maid War will contain the entire series, which consists of 12 episodes, across 2 Blu-Ray Discs inside a single case. This case will slide into a rigid art box alongside 3 art cards and a 20-page booklet.
Akiba Maid War – Complete Series (Standard Edition Blu-Ray)
Release Date: 9th September 2024 | SRP: £39.99
English & Japanese Audio (with English Subtitles) | 12 Episodes on 2 Discs
The Standard Edition of Akiba Maid War will simply contain the entire series, which consists of 12 episodes, across 2 Blu-Ray Discs inside a single case. The Discs will be the same as those included with the Collector’s Edition.
The Collector’s Edition is currently only listed on the AllTheAnime Store with the Standard Edition available to pre-order at all retailers (such as Amazon UK, Anime-On-Line, HMV, and Rarewaves).
