The Beyblade X anime series, which is the newest variation of the Beyblade franchise, makes its UK debut today on BBC iPlayer with 24 episodes currently available to stream in its English dubbed format.
This anime series is adapted from the manga of the same name, and started broadcasting in Japan last October. This English dubbed version meanwhile started broadcasting in America (or English speaking regions at least) last month, and now viewers in the UK will be able to experience the excitement that is Beyblade X. There is currently 45 known episodes of the series (in Japan), with 24 Episodes available to stream on BBC iPlayer in the UK.
Synopsis: Amateur Blader Robin Kazami finds himself out of a team when he is ditched by his friends after a crushing defeat. Lucky for him, a chance encounter with former champ Jaxon Cross leads these two unlikely teammates to join forces. Jaxon intends to climb back to the top of The X under the alias “Blader X” and challenge his old teammate and current champ, Khrome Ryugu. When they find a third team member in mega-popular influencer Multi Nana-iro, the newly-formed Team Persona set their sights on going pro and claiming their spot at the top. It’s time to show the world something X-traordinary!
As it stands Beyblade X is only being streamed on the BBC iPlayer service within the UK, and it doesn’t look like it will be broadcast on the CBBC channel (sometimes shows are streamed online and broadcast on the CBBC channel – like with Pokemon Horizons: The Series). Regardless, Beyblade X joins Dragon Ball Super, Dragon’s Quest: The Adventure of Dai, and Pokemon as being shows that can be watched on the BBC iPlayer service in the UK.
