Marvelous Europe Limited, in partnership with XSEED Games, have announced that the action roguelike RPG, Cuisineer, will launch physically and digitally onto the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on 25th January 2025.
Developed by BattleBrew Productions, who are known for the Battlesky Brigade franchise, Cuisineer is an action roguelike RPG that will put players in control of Pom who has a passion for adventure and cooking. It’s a unique combination, but it certainly sounds fun. The game originally released onto Windows PC (via Steam), but next year it will be available on various console platforms and come with additional features such as new weapons, year-round festivals, a wardrobe feature, and more tasty inclusions that are sure to spice things up.

Pom’s passion may be for adventuring, but after receiving a concerning letter from her parents asking to see her one final time, she rushes to her hometown of Paell to find her parents gone and their beloved restaurant abandoned. Now it’s up to her to turn the eatery’s fortunes around! Armed with her trusty spatula and a supply of refreshing boba tea, Pom will need to venture through dangerous and diverse dungeons to harvest all the ingredients she’ll need before returning home to cook up tasty dishes. Serve her loyal patrons, customize her dining hall with the help of local artisans, and watch out for the lunch rush!
