KOEI TECMO Europe have recently announced that FAIRY TAIL 2, a sequel to the FAIRY TAIL game released in 2020, well be released on 13th December 2024 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 with the Steam (Windows PC) version releasing on 12th December 2024. Additionally, KOEI TECMO Europe have also begun accepting pre-orders for the Limited Edition version of the game.
Developed by GUST, the studio behind the Atelier franchise, FAIRY TAIL 2 is a direct sequel to the previous game and recreate the events of the Alvarez Empire Arc in video game form. In addition the game will also feature Character Stories, which will allow players to discover new aspects of their favourite characters, and an original story, known as Key to Hidden Secrets, that will take place after the events of the main story.
In addition to the newly announced release date KOEI TECMO Europe have also begun accepting pre-orders for the Limited Edition version of the game through the official KOEI TECMO Store.

A Digital Deluxe Edition will also be available from Digital Storefronts, which will contain the base and additional costumes based on the Atelier Ryza franchise for select FAIRY TAIL characters, and items for use within the game. Specific details about the DLC will be confirmed at a later date.
