Anime Limited, otherwise known as All The Anime, have today revealed on social media that the BFI London Film Festival in October will screen the feature-length film, The Colors Within.
The Colors Within was acquired by Anime Limited earlier this year for UK distribution, with GKIDS also picking up the film for US distribution, but until now details of it’s UK release have rarely been mentioned. As it stands The Colors Within (also known as The Colours Within) will be screened on Saturday 19th October 2024 at the Prince Charles Cinema in London and Sunday 20th October 2024 at the BFI Southbank in London with tickets going on sale from 17th September 2024.
About: Totsuko is a high school student with the ability to see the ‘colors’ of others. Colors of bliss, excitement, and serenity, plus a color she treasures as her favorite. Kimi, a classmate at her school, gives off the most beautiful color of all. Although she doesn’t play an instrument, Totsuko forms a band with Kimi and Rui, a quiet music enthusiast they meet at a used bookstore in a far corner of town. As they practice at an old church on a remote island, music brings them together, forming friendships and stirring affections. Will they discover their true ‘colors’?
We can expect to hear more news about this film in the near future, but if you are in London on 19th and 20th October then you’ll be able to see it on the big screen as part of the BFI London Film Festival in the UK. Details can be found on the official BFI Website.
