Anime Limited have recently begun accepting pre-orders for the Macross Plus – Sharon Apple Deluxe Edition Blu-ray + Vinyl Edition on the AllTheAnime Store and have also confirmed that the Macross Plus film will be available in UK cinemas from 21st September 2024.

The Sharon Apple Deluxe Edition of Macross Plus contains both the OVA and Movie Editions of Macross Plus across 2 Blu-Ray Discs, of which are the same discs included with the Ultimate Edition of the film, and also contains a 7 Vinyl LP set featuring over 40 tracks from the film. Both the vinyls and Blu-rays will be packaged inside a vinyl sized rigid art box that all vinyl owners should be familiar with.
Unlike the Ultimate Edition this Sharon Apple Deluxe Edition does not include the 194-page art book, poster or art cards and these items remain exclusive to the Blu-Ray Ultimate Edition of the film.
Macross Plus – Movie Edition (Cinema)
Release Date: 21st September 2024
Cinema tickets for the Macross Plus film, which looks to be screened in Japanese with English subtitles, have started to become available through the official micro site. At the time of writing tickets are currently available to book at The Light and Vue cinema chains with more expected to be added in the coming days.
As it stands Macross Plus Movie Edition will be available in UK cinemas from 21st September 2024, while the Ultimate Edition and Sharon Apple Deluxe Edition Blu-Rays of the film will be available from 16th October 2024.
