Best character was the pig (not joking).
This show was extremely average in every way. It certainly wasn’t good, it also wasn’t bad at all. Serviceable in every aspect. That may sound like an insult (and may be an insult) I sure have seen worse. The title summarizes just about everything.
I think the worst part was that the side characters were decent, but the main character lacked much of a personality. The demon king wasn’t especially interesting either and it felt like things could have been much more exciting in that direction. It feels so sad when a show takes a premise like this and goes, “oh, the demons are actually the good guys!” Wish they would lean into being evil a bit which would be more entertaining (otherwise what is even the point of joining the demon army?)
