Since the series underwent production in early January 2024, we expect it would have reached halfway. Production typically takes 12 to 18 months. What To Expect From Dorohedoro Season 2?
The first season began with Caiman navigating a life with a reptilian head. He was determined to find the sorcerer responsible for his memory loss and reptilian head. To achieve his goal, he teamed up with Nikaido and embarked on a journey to explore the enigmatic world of Hole. However, his journey was full of trouble. Things started falling apart when En, the de facto ruler, suspected that Caiman had some connection with Cross Eyes Gang.

The anime is an adaptation of Q Hayashida’s Japanese manga series of the same name. The manga series started serializing in November 2000 and concluded in September 2018. As of now, all the chapters are collected in 23 tankobon volumes. That means it has a total of 167 chapters so far. While the anime remained true to its source material, it has already covered half of the manga series. As per the reports, the first season has covered half of volume seven around 40 chapters.

However, don’t fret! There’s ample source material left to be covered. If the anime follows the same pattern, then Dorohedoro Season 2 will cover until chapter 80, almost touching Volume 14. After exploring 40 more chapters the manga has left with 87 more chapters that can easily be covered in their future installments.
