Mechanical Arms #03 — Wash, Rinse, Repeat

Time for the protagonist to do something slightly different.

Impressions:

How many more times is the dude going to run away, and two seconds later, regret running away and change his mind? Because that’s all he did last week, all he did the first week, and all he did this week too, but continues to yell about it nonstop. I plan on adding to those sentences every single time that they repeat it until they finally stop, assuming I last that long. But since this didn’t fall off quite as hard as the other toilet show’s third episode, it’ll survive another week. Isn’t the fourth episode supposedly the old pilot anyway?

Despite the protagonist sucking, at least they did a better job with the action this time around, even if the climax of the fight was the same over-animated grunting single punch. Doesn’t make up for Aki jobbing to the dude completely off-screen, but at least the screaming idiot threw some actual punches and kicks when it came time for him to stop being a melodramatic ponce. I would be harsher on the comic relief motorcycle baddie out of nowhere and similarly dispatched, but I’m more elated that the exposition about his power level being low was kept to a mere few minutes instead of consuming the entire goddamned episode.
