Eastasiasoft have recently announced that the anime-styled dungeon crawler Tokyo Clanpool will launch digitally onto Nintendo Switch (via Nintendo eShop) and Windows PC (via GOG) on 19th December 2024. A physical version for the Nintendo Switch will also be released in Asia via Play-Asia.
Developed Compile Heart and published by Idea Factory in Japan, Tokyo Clanpool is a dungeon-crawler styled JPRG that was previously only released onto the PlayStation Vita in Japan. But now, thanks to the continued partnership between Idea Factory and Eastasiasoft, the game will be localized and released into the west on Nintendo Switch and Windows PC.
About: Tokyo Clanpool is a dungeon crawling RPG where players navigate mazelike dungeons in old-school first-person style and face off against monsters in strategic turn-based combat. The story follows a team of young girls known as the Diet Dolls, led by newly inaugurated Prime Minister Natsume Kannuki, as they attempt to stave off a growing threat from a mysterious tower connected to Japan’s National Diet Building.
The Physical Limited Edition for Nintendo Switch, which will be available at Play-Asia, will be limited to 3000 units and contain the game, manual, soundtrack CD, art book, sticker sheet, poster and numbered certificate in a collector’s box. A standard edition will also be available at Play-Asia. In the meantime Tokyo Clanpool will be available digitally worldwide on 19th December for Nintendo Switch and Windows PC. Further details about the game can also be found on the official EastAsiaSoft website.
