Anime Limited have recently revealed the Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray details, and begun accepting pre-orders on AllTheAnime Shop, for the complete season of Macross Zero on Blu-Ray.
This Collector’s Edition is scheduled to be released on 24th March 2025 and will contain all five OVA episodes on Blu-Ray along with an Art Book, Art Cards and Poster.
Synopsis: Taking place one year before the Zentradi arrive on Earth, Macross Zero chronicles a key conflict between the U.N. Military and the Anti-Unification Alliance during the Unification War. After being shot down by the anti-U.N.’s newest fighter plane, ace pilot Shin Kudo finds himself on the remote island of Mayan, where technology is almost non-existent. While Shin stays on the island to heal his wounds, the tranquility of the island is shattered by a battle that involves the UN’s newest fighter – the VF-0.

Macross Zero was announced as a new title acquisition at the MCM London Comic Con earlier this year, but until now it was not known how it would be released or when. Either way, this Macross Zero Collector’s Edition is available to pre-order (and at early bird price for a limited time) on the AllTheAnime Shop. Those interested in experiencing the series, and have a Disney+ subscription, can also stream it on the Disney+ platform along with other Macross titles.
