A new month brings new additions to the Netflix streaming platform, and today sees Naruto, ONE PIECE FILM RED and THE FIRST SLAM DUNK become available to stream on Netflix in the UK and in both dubbed and subbed formats.
The availability of Naruto on Netflix UK is a welcome addition, as previously the series was only available to stream subtitled on Crunchyroll. Sadly only 26 episodes from the first season have been added and the episodes themselves aren’t exactly high definition quality (but they are much better than the original DVD releases). THE FIRST SLAM DUNK is also a welcome addition, as that film has yet to receive a Blu-Ray (or DVD) release in the UK.

THE FIRST SLAM DUNK [English & Japanese with English subtitles]:
Ryota Miyagi and basketball have always been one thing. His love for this sport was transmitted to him by his older brother Sota, who died in an accident at sea when Ryota was still very young. He is the point guard of Shohoku, a team from the Kanagawa prefecture which gained a spot at Inter-High despite being unknown. Ryota is ready, together with his teammates, to face the “unbeatable” Sannoh, the champion team of the local tournament.
Both ONE PIECE FILM RED and THE FIRST SLAM DUNK have previously been released into UK cinemas by Anime Limited, with ONE PIECE FILM RED also receiving a DVD, Blu-Ray and 4K UHD Blu-Ray release in the UK. Naruto is also starting to be released on Blu-Ray in the UK via Anime Limited, but the series was previously released on DVD by Manga Entertainment.
