Last week PQube revealed that they would release Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark, a sequel of sorts to Gal Guardians: Demon Purge, in Europe and now the UK based publisher have confirmed that it will be released digitally on 27th March 2025 for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. A physical release is also planned, but release details for this edition have not yet been confirmed.
About: Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark is the newest title in the Gal Guardians series of gothic-inspired 2D action-adventure games set in the Gal*Gun universe.
Servants of the Dark greatly expands the setting from a single castle to the entirety of the Demon Realm, and further evolves the gameplay into a true metroidvania adventure. Starring two new characters with different playstyles, Kirika and Masha, players can switch between them in order to fully explore the vast areas and take down the dangerous enemies in their path.
