Yeah, the ED is definitely the only good part here.
Impressions:
I glanced through the other four to check which order I wanted to grapple with them, and this easily won based on the ending. A Brazilian festival dance sequence is absolutely something that I can respect. I’d rather have it been “I’ve Been Reincarnated To Headline at The Carnival in Rio De Janeiro” than another goddamned completely generic villainess thing. At least somebody enjoyed making the ED, even if it was on a mountain of drugs. Or maybe because they were on a mountain of drugs. That’s a lot of rambling about the ED because the rest of it was as by the numbers as you can get. Hell, it spends the first five minutes explaining the premise, re-explaining the premise, playing the OP which has the premise in the title, and then, after all that, assumes that you’ve forgotten the premise, because it then explains it two more times.
Which is also the only joke that it really has. Nothing about teenagers being tiresome and obnoxious hormonal alien monsters. Nothing about the old dude having weird old dude habits as a teenager. He’s old, therefore he’s well-behaved and respectful, which everybody is starstruck by, because he looks like a girl. I guess the animation is decent? Though again, the ED outdoes anything in the rest of the episode. As far as these things go, it’s inoffensive enough, but the only gag that it has is its title, and it’s so enamored of it that it repeats what the punchline is going to be for the first five minutes before bothering to tell the first actual joke about it, and then simply… keeps telling it, over and over. At least try something else. Like going to Rio and getting drunk off suspicious pineapple juice like whoever made the ED did.
