Impressions:
This has to be the most chill evil party I think I’ve ever seen. If anything, the dude comes off worse than them. He’s out there screaming that they’ll regret it when he’s gone and their reaction is “Dude, go away.” There’s not even a scene of them being particularly abusive or anything to him. We’re just dumped into a scene of him throwing a huge tantrum. It’d have been a pretty funny twist if they had been shown to be correct. But of course, this is a kicked-from-the-party-but-I’m-the-best show, so he was actually right and everybody else are stupid idiots who can’t appreciate all his awesomeness.
Everything is the usual from there, with only all magic stuff being neon for some reason standing out from the other quintillion shows with the exact same premise. This is the light hearted harem variety, so it’s just teenage girls oohing and aahing, cooing over him saying “maybe use this magical item” or “I buffed your sword by +3”. Status screen variety too, as he gets to yell out names of buffs and then have them appear as text across the screen constantly. You know, like proper magic. At least it’s the final one of these. Not the final cheat power RPG world show of the season. No. There’s still another to come. But I have nearly escaped the RPG world onslaught for the season. Thank CHRIST.
