New listings in the New & Popular section of the Netflix application have revealed that Cells at Work! CODE BLACK, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, and Naruto (Season 4) will become available to stream on Netflix UK on 1st March 2025. Additionally, Puniru is a Kawaii Slime will also become available to stream from 27th February 2025.
27th February 2025:
Puniru is a Kawaii Slime: Puniru follows Kotaro to school to take him something he forgot, but they end up getting into a fight. Puniru turns into an idol to get Kotaro to admit she’s cute. Kotaro tries to enlist Puniru’s help in winning the affections of his crush, Kirara-senpai.
1st March 2025:
Cells at Work! CODE BLACK: A rookie Red Blood Cell confronts a dangerous work environment, risking his very existence to keep a poorly maintained body functioning.
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End: A great party of heroes once brought an era of peace, their deeds fading to legend over time. But what of their elven mage, Frieren, who outlived her companions? A new generation sparks her next adventure to understand the human heart, now and of the past.
Naruto (Season 4): Naruto begins training with Jiraiya to master the powerful Rasengan. Before long a battle among legends erupts when Orochimaru dares to confront Lady Tsunade and Jiraiya, leading to a deadlocked showdown between the Three Sannin!
It is worth noting that all of the above shows are currently available to stream on Crunchyroll, although Naruto is only available in subbed format.
As a reminder a variety of new anime shows were added to Netflix UK on 1st February 2025, including new seasons of Cells at Work and Naruto, but interestingly the Death Note compilation movies have also been added to Netflix in the UK.
