This week we launch a new feature on My Taste is Better Than Yours: JUMPing to Conclusions. Whenever WSJ launches a new round of series, it’s a pretty big deal. As such, I thought Samu and I should weigh in with our first impressions of the new manga on the block (plus a sendoff for Mission: Yozakura Family, Undead Unluck, and Hakutaku). This round it’s Embers (a soccer manga co-authored by one of the assistants on Blue Lock) and B no Seisen (Star of Beethoven), an oddball dive into the world of classical piano. What’s our way-too early verdict? Tune in and find out!
