Aniplex, in partnership with XSEED Games, have today released an English Dubbed Trailer for the upcoming strayegy-RPG The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- with a playable prologue demo also available on Steam (for Windows PC). The game itself is scheduled to be released globally on 24th April 2024 for both Nintendo Switch and Windows PC.
The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- is a strategy-RPG, with visual novel elements to help deliver the story, from the creative minds behind Danganronpa and puts players in the perspective of Takumi Sumino after gaining the Hemoanima ability. The newly released trailer provides an overview of what to expect from the story within the game, and sees the Special Defense Unit being formed. Those wishing to experience these beginnings for themselves can also play the prologue, and get a glimpse of the game.
In addition to the trailer Aniplex also confirmed that both a Standard and Digital Deluxe Edition will be made available on Steam, with pre-orders also granting access to a special novel. The Digital Deluxe Edition will contain the base game, digital art book and digital soundtrack. Aniplex will also release a Nintendo Switch version globally, although it is unclear if the game will receive a deluxe edition. In America XSEED Games will also release a physical edition (both standard and limited edition) with the product being sold through the XSEED Games store.
As it stands The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- is only planned for a digital release in Europe, on both Nintendo Switch and Windows PC, with the game scheduled to release on 24th April 2025.
