Aksys Games have today announced that the romantic visual novel Despera Drops is now available to purchase digitally for the Nintendo Switch within Europe and North America. A physical edition of the game is also scheduled to launch on 11th April 2025, with a special bundle (containing two soundtrack CDs) also available from the Aksys Games Store.
About: Mika Amamine, studying abroad at a university in Bologna, Italy in the summer of 2028, visits Rome for a short trip with a friend to celebrate the end of exams. However, during that trip, she encounters a murder incident and is subsequently arrested as a suspect. While being transported in a police vehicle, it suddenly overturns in an accident, freeing Mika along with six other criminals and they all become fugitives. Mysterious attackers appear, targeting the unique powers that Mika possesses, and the group finds themselves pursued by both the police and yet another nefarious party. The secret behind Mika’s powers, the identity of the attackers, and the truth behind the murder incident that started it all… Can they unravel these mysteries and reclaim a normal life?
As a reminder Despera Drops is currently only available digitally for the Nintendo Switch (via the Nintendo eShop), but a physical edition will launch on 11th April 2025 at various retailers. A special bundle is also being offered on the Aksys Games Store, of which sees two soundtrack CDs included along with the game.
