An animator is isekaied to the world of her favorite anime and changes the story.
This was pretty great! Gorgeous animation, characters filled with personality, and a moving story throughout. I loved how the world was so beautiful and cheerful on the surface but some real darkness lurked underneath. My favorite episode was with the elf girl. Things got very dark very fast and what an emotional turnaround. It was silly too which only made me appreciate it more.
I do think it could have used a bit more time towards the end, felt slightly rushed. But overall, fabulous show! I’m as sick of isekai as everyone else but I do love how people keep managing to take this overused to death formula and bring it in new and creative directions.
Storytelling – B – Well done although certainly some stronger and weaker episodes.
Voice – A – Cool concept.
Characters – A – Loved them. Even Luke and the stupid unicorn grew on me and got more interesting.
Attention Grab – B – Did vary by episode.
