Didn’t I try to escape this show already?
Impressions:
My stomach for “girls making faces” may have already run its course and I’m starting to struggle to remember what it was about the first episode that seemed at least a little charming, which makes me wonder if it just caught me in a good mood or the barrage of awful premieres simply made it seem better. This episode was them simply going sightseeing, just like that other “girls making faces” show that I barely survived a single episode of. But with more girls, which unfortunately translated mostly to more screaming, which I don’t recall being quite so much a cornerstone of this show’s humor in the previous episodes.
At least they quickly bounced from one place to the next, but I can’t help but feel that was so they could spend more time on establishing shots of scenery rather than, you know, content. Except that random shots of scenery probably is meant to be the content. There’s only so many times you can look at a montage of girls making faces before it starts to feel like you’re being euthanized though. Until being startled awake by sudden loud screaming.
