Perfectionist girl can take off her underwear to travel back in time. Main character is bullied and forced to be her closet. Will likely be watching this with Classy, great first episode.

Had me from when the girl in the robot screamed “Warp” and was randomly in her underwear. Bit of a downer for most of the first episode but this one is goofy enough with the revenge stuff I think it can work without taking itself at all seriously.

Super fun first episode! Love how much she doesn’t want her powers to be the strongest.
9. Witch Watch
Love the manga and the adaptation did not disappoint. Can’t wait until we get to an episode on denim.

I loved this first episode, with how it portrayed the main character’s social anxiety. But also… yeah… PA Works has tricked me with this formula every time. Interesting first episode, then have cute girls being cute and not doing much of anything for the rest of the show. Oh well, I’ll get fooled again.

I love the premise with the world ending. I’m less sure about solving this problem using parkour. But hey whatever the first episode was great.

Oh wow this season is way too good. The top five could all be the best anime of the year. I gave them an order but every time I think about it I want to reorder them— they’re all top tier. I’m super pumped for the next four as well. Anything good I missed?
