I want to know more about this… Caac Generation.
Impressions:
…I think I may have already fulfilled as much “cute girls making faces stuff” as I can stand for the next six months. Or maybe these simply aren’t cute enough, though staring at a whopping two photoshop files and wanting to go get a drink instead is certainly something I can empathize with. I’m not sure I have quite the same passion for artisinal ham though, and I half-suspect that someone dared a script writer to see how many times they could work the word “ham” into an episode. Mostly, just like the previous episode, it just reminded me of the food-oriented cute girls loudly making faces as they montage and look at food/tourism that I didn’t survive, and this one moving in that direction is not a good one.
The second half introduced a new goth girl, but more than that, the budget utterly cratered, and it already wasn’t forcing animators to miss their children’s birthdays to start with. She also made faces and squeezed the glasses girls hair chunks. Otherwise, the role of quirky quiet girl was already filled, but I guess not by someone in a black dress. I’m not sure that was a niche that was actually needed, but okay. Gotta catch ’em all.
