Bandai Namco Music Live Inc. launches new music label known as “UNIERA”

Bandai Namco Music Live Inc., which is headquartered in Japan and operates its music business primarily through record labels, has recently announced the launch of new music label called UNIERA.

As described in the press release this new label aims to bring out the unique qualities of artists, from emerging talents to seasoned creators, across a range of genres and styles. UNIERA is a combination of the words “Unique” and “Era,” and seeks to spark a new wave for the next generation. With music at its core, UNIERA will embrace diverse cultural touch points such as anime, fashion, and toys, expanding its reach in Japan and overseas while offering a space for free expression and new creative possibilities for all artists seeking new challenges.

The first four artists to join UNIERA are:

LINKL PLANET, an idol group promoting plastic models worldwide.

Like the parts of a plastic model coming together, we’re a group still taking shape—aiming to become idols who connect plastic models with fans, and with the world (the planet). To help more people step into the world of plastic models, we’re learning about their appeal together with our fans and spreading the fun of building them around the globe.

INUWASI, a powerhouse live idol group that sold out at KT Zepp Yokohama in a solo concert this March

A six-member idol unit that debuted in February 2020. Since 2024, they’ve centered their performances
around a band setup, creating a unique “hybrid live” style that blends idol and band elements. After steady growth in Japan, they’ve recently expanded to overseas shows. By fusing Japanese idol culture with their own musical identity, they’re rapidly building a presence on the global stage.

majiko, who has over 200 million streams across Asia

Since 2010, majiko has been posting cover songs on video-sharing platforms, gradually building a following in the online scene. She writes, composes, arranges, and illustrates her own work, showcasing her multifaceted talents across a range of creative activities. In recent years, she has held solo shows in China and Taiwan, and with over 200 million streams across Asia, her growing success is now drawing attention both regionally and worldwide.

Daoko, known for the hit “Uchiage Hanabi” with Kenshi Yonezu, which has topped 600 million views on YouTube.

Daoko gained attention at 15 with a song posted on Niconico Douga and made her major debut in 2015 while still in high school. Since then, she has been active across various music fields, including providing songs for commercials and anime. Her collaboration with Kenshi Yonezu, “Uchiage Hanabi,” has surpassed 600 million views on YouTube. Beyond music, she is a versatile creator who continually takes on new challenges such as writing novels, organizing live events, holding painting exhibitions, and acting.

UNIERA will continue to welcome a wide range of artists seeking new challenges. Stay tuned for more from this new label and its rising roster. Further details about UNIERA can be found on the official website.
