Celebrate the Launch of “Tamagotchi Paradise” with Activities at Bandai Namco Cross Stores in Birmingham & London

To celebrate the launch of the Tamagotchi Paradise franchise, the Bandai Namco Cross Store in Birmingham, as well as the Bandai Namco Cross Store in London (Camden Town), will be hosting Tamagotchi themed activities for a limited time.

The activities, which started on 12th July 2025 at both locations, feature a Tamagotchi Paradise standee, where attendees can stand inside and be imortalised as a Tamagotchi, at the Camden store and a giant Tama Lab, which attendees can interact with to view new info and receive special items (if you use your own Tamagotchi device), at both Camden and Birmingham locations.

Additionally, in celebration of the Tamagotchi Paradise launch, both stores will be selling Tamagotchi Paradise and those that purchase a device will also be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a Tamagotchi Original. That’s not all, as Headbands, Sticker Sheets and Comic Books are also being given away (while supplies last) to all Tamagotchi purchased in store.

About: Breaking with the traditional classic egg shape with three buttons, the Tamagotchi Paradise is the first Tamagotchi to feature a dial. Designed to enhance interaction, players simply twist it to zoom through four levels of the Tamagotchi World: Space, Field, Tama and Cell, enabling them to become researchers, creating their very own Tamagotchi ‘Paradise’ and raising over 50,000 different characters across 12 species and three environments – land, sea and sky.

Researchers will be able to:

Nurture – both a microscope and a telescope, different layers of the zoom function unlock different care menus and enable users to participate in traditional nurturing play. They can clean the poop in the field and turn it in to biofuel for space travel; feed Tamagotchi delicious food; make them feel better and even see Tamagotchi which have passed away. Playing games will earn Gotchi points which can be traded in the shop.

Grow – depending on the environment, first generation characters grow legs, fins, wings and more, developing into one of 50 characters across 12 species. ‘Lab Play’ mode enables the creation of even more Tamagotchi characters, passing on the parents’ genes to the next generation, to breed a total of 50,000 different Tamagotchi. Each character looks and grows like a real living creature and the more users play, the richer the Tamagotchi Paradise becomes.

Connect – contact communication allows users to connect and play with pals without the need for a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection. They simply click the device together with another Tamagotchi Paradise for connective play with friends, and can even cross-breed pets to create hybrids.

This Tamagotchi Paradise activities will be available at Bandai Namco Cross Store in Camden (London) and Birmingham while stocks last. Further details about both venues can be found on the official website.
