As part of the recent Pokémon Presents stream, the company revealed that new episodes of Pokémon Concierge, which is stop motion animated series based within the world of Pokémon, will become available to stream globally on 4th September.
As a reminder Pokémon Concierge is produced Dwarf Animation Studios and follows the story of Haru who works as a Concierge at a successful Pokémon resort hotel. Unlike past Pokémon series, which has focused on the battling aspect of the franchise, this show will look at the calm, colourful and cute aspects of Pokémon. The show immediately began a hit on Netflix, despite its short number of episodes.
About Pokémon Concierge: Welcome to Pokémon Resort, a peaceful getaway for Pokémon to relax and have fun. Which adorable guest will the new concierge Haru befriend and help first?
In addition to Pokémon Concierge the Pokémon Presents stream also introduced an entirely new Pokémon series, this time being animated by Aardman. Aardman are known for clay model productions such as Chicken Run as well as Wallace and Gromit, but in 2027 they will be releasing the Pokémon series Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d & Pichu.
This series will focus on Sirfetch’d & Pichu in a region Trainers have explored before—one that is very close to Aardman’s heart (so we’d assume the Galar region due to its inspiration from the United KIngdom). Further details for this series will be revealed at a later date, but the teaser trailer can be watched below.
