MVM Entertainment have today revealed, through a new early bird pre-order offer on Anime-On-Line, that The Executioner and Her Way of Life will be released as a Standard Edition Blu-Ray in the UK, and is currently listed for release on 10th October 2025.
MVM Entertainment had previously announced that they had acquired the UK license to the series earlier in the year, but we now know that the series is expected to be released on 10th October 2025 as a Standard Edition Blu-Ray set. Bizarrely the 10th October 2025 is a Friday, and Blu-Rays are usually released on a Monday, so this date may change to the 13th October 2025. The listing on Anime-On-Line meanwhile reveals an £39.99 SRP with the series featuring both English & Japanese audio (with English subtitles).
Synopsis: When interdimensional travelers from an otherworldly land known as “Japan” appear, death and destruction always follow. It’s up to Executioners like Menou to exterminate the Lost Ones before they wreak havoc. When Menou encounters a Lost One named Akari, it’s bloody business as usual… until Menou discovers Akari can cheat death. Even so, Menou has a job to do, and she is committed to her executioner’s mission come hell or high water – provided her newly stirring feelings don’t get in the way.
Specific on-disc details have yet to be confirmed, but we suspect that MVM Entertainment will use the same disc materials authored by Sentai Filmworks, of which saw 12 Episodes across 2 Discs with bonus features being textless opening and closing songs.
As it stands The Executioner and Her Way of Life is currently scheduled for a 10th October 2025 release on Blu-Ray in the UK, although we suspect this date will change, with pre-orders now being accepted on Anime-On-Line. Online listings at other retailers are expected to appear in the coming weeks.
