New Anime

The Shinichiro Watanabe anime series “Lazarus” is available to Stream on Channel 4 in the UK

File this news under extremely late, or perhaps even fashionably late, but the original anime series Lazarus, which was created by Shinichiro Watanabe (Cowboy Bebop, Kids on the Slope) and animated by MAPPA (Attack on Titan: The Final Season, Chainsaw Man), is available to stream in its entirety for FREE on the Channel 4 streaming service within the UK.

All thirteen episodes of the series, of which are presented in English dubbed format, are available to stream on the Channel 4 streaming service and were added on a weekly basis from 6th April 2025. The final episode was added on 29th June 2025 and were added to the platform as part of the [Adult Swim] selection of content.

Synopsis: In the near future, a drug once hailed as a miracle dooms humanity. Time is running out. Can just five agents save everyone?

According to reports Lazarus was broadcast on TV Tokyo, and its affiliate channels, earlier this year and was simulcast broadcast on TOONAMI in both the US and Canada. In the UK it seems the series wasn’t broadcast on TV, but instead added to the Channel 4 streaming service. This isn’t the first time that this has happened, as Channel 4 streaming service also has other shows such as FLCL and Ninja Kamui.

Unlike the films Your Name and Weathering With You, which are only available to stream for a limited amount of time after being broadcast on TV, Lazarus will be available to watch for some time on the service. Lazarus is also available to purchase on Apple TV and Amazon in the UK.
