Sunny Lab & Silver Lining Interactive have recently revealed that The Witch’s Bakery, which is described as a cozy adventure RPG featuring a mix of magic, baking, and Parisian charm, will be serving up a treat on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, alongside its previously announced Nintendo Switch and Windows PC platforms, in 2026.
The Witch’s Bakery puts players in control of Lunne who finds herself opening a new bakery within Paris. During the day Lunne will manage her bakery and serve customers, but in the evenings she will explore the city and develop new relationships with others. At night however, Lunne will be able to perfect her craft and learn the ways of magic to further develop her skills in the kitchen. It’s an interesting concept, and progression of the story will move forward depending on experience, money and skills earned during the course of the day.
About: For some people, their emotion is locked away so strongly than Lunne needs to go inside their heart to help them. She enters their “Heart Palace”, a magical space where emotions and thoughts take shape. Lunne needs to guide the personified Emotion back to the heart. Inside the Heart Palace, Lunne discovers the person’s deepest struggles and finds the key ingredient she needs to make a bread that will heal them!
As you can guess, The Witch’s Bakery has some interesting mechanics, and so fans of Rune Factory and Story of Seasons may be interested in exploring the game further. That’s not all, as the game features unique anime styled visuals, visual novel styled segments and puzzle elements to create a unique experience.
The Witch’s Bakery is currently in development for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC for a digital release in 2026. Further details can be found on steam.
