At least it’s something to discuss.
Impressions:
Okay. New character. She’s haughty and a meddler, but she’s good at heart. …And? When she gets bitten, it pinches instead of slobbers. …Is that really it? She’s also the childhood friend of the other girl. ………Really. We’re doing half an episode on this? Well, how about some boobs? Good enough. Though that’s sort of a lie. The abrupt boob focus was abrupt and right from the start. Someone on the animation staff must’ve won the fight for more fanservice and so the jiggle was cranked up to maximum and half a dozen ‘jokes’ that are just zoom ins on her chest, half the time in slow motion, were born.
The second half of the episode was worse, perhaps not surprisingly, though it was split into two segments to try to keep things flowing, which it did not succeed at. It rained, and she had a birthday. The former was an excuse to announce that it indeed was raining and that umbrellas and cliches around them existed, and then to go through the motions. The latter just had all the characters recite their archetypes, including the boob girl, who’s now literally just “boob girl.” Comedy.
