Marvelous Europe have today confirmed that the “Into the Abyss” expansion is now available for Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion on the Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC. The “Into the Abyss” expansion is available to purchase individually or as part of the Deluxe Editions of the game.
The “Into the Abyss” expansion sees players explore the Survey Zone: Locus Initi. Inside this new locations players will find new story quests, challenging enemies, and powerful new gear. A free update for the game has also been released that includes additional bug fixes and improvements to the game.
About: Survey Zone: Locus Initi is home to the Genesis Tree, a massive Femtree that could be seen from other areas in the game but was previously inaccessible. In a new storyline taking place outside of the main narrative, the Reclaimer Blossom tasks players with investigating an alien landscape teeming with Femto-enhanced enemies. Beyond battling the dangerous fauna that call Locus Initi home, players can take on an Axiom base hidden within the Genesis Tree and earn rewards including powerful new gear.
In addition to the release of “Into the Abyss” and a game update, new downloadable content has also been released that allows for further cosmetic customization.
