The Quad Cinema, which is located in Derby, will be hosting a Classic Anime Movie Marathon, where four classic anime films will be shown on the big screen back-to-back throughout the day. The event is called Anime-A-Go-Go and will take place on the 10th January 2026.
As part of Anime-A-Go-Go cinema goers will be able to watch Patlabor The Movie, Macross Plus Movie Edition, Memories and Perfect Blue in the Quad Cinema. All four films will be screened in Japanese with English subtitles with the cinematic event starting at 1pm, and is expected to last until around 11pm.
Screening schedule:
1:00pm – Patlabor The Movie (PG)
3:00pm – Macross Plus Movie Edition (12A)
6:30pm – Memories (12A)
8:45pm – Perfect Blue (18)
Tickets for each film can be purchased individually, but if you plan to see all four films then a discount will apply automatically at the checkout (if tickets for all four films are in your basket). Tickets are priced at £11 per adult (with reduced prices for Over 60s and Students). The discounted price is £30 for all four films (or £25 for concessions).
