Robots are taking our robots harems now too.
Impressions:
That was really the point of this two episode aside to a random family? He lied, and she couldn’t forgive him, and that’s a horrible tragic thing. Supposedly. Now let’s check in with our protagonist, who’s been lied to and he cries that it’s unforgivable. However will this turn out? But that’s getting a little bit ahead of things because it only happens in the last closing minutes, and even then, comes from the one killer robot demanding a duel in cave. Just because. No real reason. And we humor this because, also, just because.
Anyway, he discovers that he’s an android, having not once suffered a single bruise, scrape, or burn this entire time. Somehow. Which also calls into question “Who cares?” If there’s literally nothing that distinguishes you from a human, why does it matter? Hasn’t he given that speech to the robots? Actually, has he? It seems like the kind of vacuous prattle he would, but hell if I can remember him doing anything whatsoever. Or his brain was uploaded. This existential crisis is dumb because he has no sense of self or identity to start with. When he protests “What has this journey all been for if I *might* be slightly different from what I thought!?”, since when was that something that was important in the first place? In fact, the opposite with all the pseudo clones of his girlfriend running around. Fine for thee, horrible existential crisis when it happens to me. It just makes me think of Momentary Lily doing this exact same thing, and I shouldn’t be comparing anything to GoHands writing with the latter being far superior.
