The issue right now is too much sucking.
Impressions:
We move on from the most vampire-free generic beach multi episode arc to… an utterly banal vampire-free generic school festival multi episode arc. The bad cliches will continue until morale improves, it seems. Or more accurately, until the episode count reaches its limit. Like the beach arc, it does nothing whatsoever with its premise or the characters. There is simply a school festival going on. Vampire themed? No, maid cafe. Doing vampire stuff? No, haunted house. Vampire themed haunted house? No. Of course not. Why would we even engage with or acknowledge the premise at all? Everybody’s going to Do Their Best. Take it or leave it.
