The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon Story Demo and Battle Demo Now Available

NIS America have today released two playable demos for the upcoming turn-based RPG The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon. A Story Demo is available for Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 and a Battle Demo is available for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

The Story Demo allows players to play through the Prologue portion of the game, with progress being transferable to the full game once released next month. The Battle Demo meanwhile, which is only available for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, allows players to battle within the Grim Garten using Van, Kevin, and Rean.

As a reminder The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon takes place after the events of The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak II, and features characters from Trails of Cold Steel, Trails into Reverie, and Trails through Daybreak, to present a story that will encompass all of Zemuria.

About: Van Arkride and the members of Arkride Solutions are back, and this time the future of the entire Zemurian continent is at stake! The people of Zemuria await the launch of humanity’s first foray into space with bated breath. A sudden invitation from Marduk to cooperate in a high-tech training exercise sets Van, Ashen Chevalier Rean Schwarzer, and Father Kevin Graham on a collision course with the secrets at the very core of Zemuria. Their paths may diverge, but the ultimate question remains the same: Just what lies beyond the edge of the horizon?

The previously announced Limited Edition, which contains a copy of the game along with an Art Book, Steel Book, Soundtrack CD and Acrylic Clock, will also be available for all platforms exclusively from the NIS America store in Europe and North America with pre-orders now available.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon is scheduled for a 15th January 2025 release on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 & Windows PC. The Steam page is also live, along with an official website.
