Everyone thinks our main character Krai is the strongest adventurer in the world. He’s actually a giant dork who has no clue what’s going on.
This show was a comedy that just really worked for me. It’s the same basic joke over and over again (Krai is completely oblivious, everything magically works out and everyone thinks he’s a genius) but it had such a variety of setups that I couldn’t help but laugh every time. The narrator who jumps in occasionally is great. The little details are always fun (like that magic carpet…). It never made the mistake these types of shows often do of trying to go for a serious ending. The final arc was the most silly, pointless and inconsequential of the entire show. I loved it.
Anyway, I suspect not many people watched this, because everyone is (rightfully) sick of adventurer / fantasy shows, but this one’s great.
Storytelling – B – Great sense of humor!
Voice – A – Takes such a stale setup and makes it fresh with its own twist.
Characters – B – Krai’s great. Most of them are fun. Kind of hard to keep track of everybody towards the end though.
Attention Grab – B – Stayed engaged.
Production – B – Look fine.
Overall – B
