Santa Claus is reincarnated as a child. He’s being hunted by assassins and needs to punish some children on the naughty list.
What a fun show. This felt like a fever dream. It took the concept of Santa Claus and ran in the most ridiculous direction possible, full speed ahead, without stopping. Even had some surprisingly thoughtful takes on childhood and aging.
But the animation rules, and the main thing is the characters are just so memorable. It’s the fun and ridiculous shows like this that got me to start watching anime in the first place. Look forward to our upcoming podcast episode with further thoughts on Sanda.
