A new rating on the BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) website has revealed that Ragna Crimson has been rated a 15 for “Physical media + VOD/Streaming” in the UK with MVM Entertainment being listed as the distributor.
The Ragna Crimson rating was published today (5th January 2026) on the BBFC website, alongside individual episode ratings for The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess, Tokyo Mew Mew New, and Vermeil in Gold. The aforementioned titles have previously been announced for a UK release, but as it stands MVM Entertainment have yet to officially announce Ragna Crimson for a UK release. It is possible that, just like with ENGAGE KISS, they wanted to receive a rating before confirming any release plans.
Ragna Crimson: Few humans have more reason to hate dragons than Ragna, who seems cursed to lose everyone he loves to the ancient monsters. Unfortunately, Ragna’s abilities as a dragon hunter are inadequate, so he takes revenge by serving as the junior partner to young hunting prodigy Leonica… until he has a prophetic dream in which Leo is slain and multiple cities are destroyed. Confronted by an apparition from his future, Ragna finds himself wielding new powers that should be far beyond his reach. Have mankind’s greatest foes finally met their match? Find out as a new apex predator is born in RAGNA CRIMSON!
Ragna Crimson was previously released in the US as a Complete Season Collection, of which saw all 24 episodes of the series (in English & Japanese with English subtitles) as a 4 Disc Blu-Ray Set, by Sentai Filmworks. As with other Sentai Filmwork related titles we expect that MVM Entertainment will use the same disc and artwork materials, but repurposed for the UK.
It’s unclear when MVM Entertainment will release Ragna Crimson in the UK, but based on the current release (for MVM related titles) it could be a late March or early April 2026 release. Either way, once we know more details we will be sure to share them. In the meantime Ragna Crimson should be available to stream on HIDIVE.
