Central City Media, the UK distributor for the Hong Kong produced animated film Another World, have recently announced on social media that Director Tommy Ng and writer/producer Polly Yeung, will be taking part in various Q&A sessions at selected screenings of the film across the UK.
Another World is expected to be released in to UK cinemas on the 30th January 2026, and its UK Premiere will take place on the 29th January 2026 at Picturehouse Central in London. From there, selected locations across the UK will host Tommy and/or Polly for special Q&A sessions with the full schedule listed below:

Another World is a Hong Kong produced animated film featuring the voice talents of Chung Suet-Ying, Christy Choi Hiu Tung, Louis Cheung, Kay Tse, Will Or, and sees the spirit GUDO attempt to understand human emotions after encountering a young girl named YURI.
Synopsis: After death and before reincarnation, the souls of the deceased pass through a fantastical realm known as, Another World. GUDO is a spirit tasked with guiding these transient souls to their next life.
While helping a young girl named YURI, he learns that humans have emotions that he does not understand, and his curiosity is stirred. He befriends Yuri and promises to always be with her through her difficult journey.
However, Yuri harbors a rare curse that could threaten humanity and upset the balance of the universe if she is fully consumed by anger. Through Gudo’s revelation, Yuri discovers a grave sin she committed in her past life. Unable to forgive herself, her growing anger risks unleashing the hidden curse. Charged by Goddess Mira to prevent this threat, Gudo embarks on a perilous thousand-year mission.
Despite constant conflicts with his guardian, Dark Sky, Gudo insists on giving Yuri a second chance at the risk of his life. He learns that forgiveness and inner peace is the only way to overcome the anger within and heal a broken world.
Another World is currently scheduled to be released on the 30th January 2026 in the UK and will screen at participating cinemas, such as Picturehouse and The Light cinemas, across the UK.
