Episode 2s are contractually obligated to be bad this season, I guess.
Impressions:
I’m not saying that an orgy fight would’ve been the correct move, but I also did see how you spent the rest of the episode, so I’m not sure it would’ve been the worst move either. What is this cowardly sleepover crap? How do we go from three people sneaking in to get drugged up and imagine licking the dude to doing sleep-fighting slapstick and the kid-character being the one for the ‘fanservice?’
It’s not like the rest of the episode was a winner either. First, a bunch of light recap, in case you’ve forgotten who the characters introduced last week were. Then, the declaration that we’re doing a whole training arc thing… starting next week. Oh boy. Be still my beating heart. Aren’t there monster attacks and an entire super-monster squad roaming around that you could be engaging with instead? Can we please not doing training or tournament arcs? …A tournament arc is coming after this, isn’t it. It is the way this nonsense always goes.
