Ahead of its UK cinematic release on 27th February 2026, the BFI IMAX in London have partnered with Anime Limited to host a special preview screening of All You Need is Kill on 26th February 2026. The film will be screened in Japanese (with English subtitles) with tickets available to book through the official BFI IMAX Website.
All You Need is Kill is animated by STUDIO 4°C (MIND GAME, Tekkonkinkreet) and is adapted from the light novel by Hiroshi Sakurazaka, ond offers anime fans a brand-new reimagining of the action-packed time loop story. A story which sees Rita caught in a time loop while investigating the sudden emergence of monsters.
About: Set in the year 20XX, ALL YOU NEED IS KILL follows the story of Rita, a resourceful but isolated young woman volunteering to help rebuild Japan after the mysterious appearance of a massive alien flower known as “Darol.” When Darol unexpectedly erupts in a deadly event, unleashing monstrous creatures that decimate the population, Rita is caught in the destruction—and killed. But then she wakes up again. And again. Caught in an endless time loop, Rita must navigate the trauma and repetition of death until she crosses paths with Keiji, a shy young man trapped in the same cycle. Together, they fight to break free from the loop and find meaning in the chaos around them.
All You need Is Kill is expected to be screened in cinemas across the UK and Ireland in both dubbed (English) and subbed (Japanese with English subtitles) formats from the 27th February 2026, with screening locations and tickets to become available in the coming days through the official website. This Special screening at the BFI IMAX will not only give anime fans an early look at the film, but will allow fans to watch it on one of the biggest screens.
