At least she almost got a kid killed.
Impressions:
Focused on the lady teacher this time, and she didn’t come out for the better. The monster of the week was one of these things, converted to just an insomnia demon, more or less. I guess they had realized they had probably overdone it on the monsters punishing people for sins. On the other hand, a giant crawling miasma-spewing monster wandering the town murdering people seems like something that would have gone noticed before it decided to eat some random schoolkid.
Anyway, the teacher decides to inject herself into this kid being stalked by an evil monster and asking for help, and tells all the supernatural experts to go away multiple times. She’s seen people, including herself, be attacked by these monsters multiple times. Thinking it’s all dreams doesn’t cut it. She just decided to be an idiot and endanger everybody over everyone’s protests. Over and over again. Including the doctors. At some point, we are long past Doing Your Best and being a delusional reckless self-centered ass. She makes the worst decision at literally every step, and then shrugs and decides it all turned out okay in the end. Not sharing your positive vibes after you nearly got two people killed through your pettiness, lady.
