Detective Conan: One-Eyed Flashback Available To Purchase (and Rent) Digitally on Apple TV and Sky Store in the UK

File this new under fashionably late but Detective Conan: One-Eyed Flashback, the latest and twenty-eighth feature-length-film in the Detective Conan (CASE CLOSED) franchise, is now available to purchase digitally on Apple TV and Sky Store in the UK courtesy of Trinity CineAsia.

The news was announced last month on the Trinity CineAsia social media profiles, as well as through targeted social media adverts on Facebook which have suddenly started appearing this week. The film can be purchased on the Apple TV and Sky Store for £9.99 or rented for £4.99, with the film presented in Japanese with English subtitles.

Synopsis: Nagano PD’s Kansuke Yamato and Yui Uehara are alerted when a researcher is attacked at an observatory in the Yatsugatake Mountains. During the investigation, Kansuke begins to feel a strange discomfort in the eye he injured during an avalanche 10 months earlier. Meanwhile, Kogoro receives a call from his former colleague Sametani, who claims to be investigating the same avalanche that involved Kansuke. But before Sametani can share his findings, he is assassinated right before Kogoro and Conan’s eyes. Determined to uncover the truth, Kogoro travels to Nagano himself, while Conan launches his own investigation. In Nagano, while investigating Sametani’s murder, Conan and Kogoro discover that the avalanche is linked to a robbery that took place eight years earlier. But when Detective Kansuke becomes the target of a mysterious assailant, the stakes rise sharply. From the very first scene, tension and emotion build toward a climax sealed by an avalanche in the Yatsugatake Mountain range.

Detective Conan: One-Eyed Flashback originally received a limited cinematic release across the UK in September last year, but those that were unable to see the film in cinema can now watch it at home through Apple TV or Sky Store. Further details about the game, and where to purchase (or rent) can be found through the official Trinity CineAsia website.
