Impressions:
Meh. I have to continue beating the drum of saying how this might’ve been tolerable if the production wasn’t so piss poor, but it also had the same issue as the slave show did this week of starting and ending in the exact same place. The antagonist lady seems like she would be fun. Shame that she wasn’t introduced until two and a half months into the show and immediately pisses right back off into the shadows after yet another long conversation.
The back half of the episode just in general felt very disjointed. Oh, there’s another faction here to kill everybody, and only NOW are the party guests panicking with all the dismemberment going on. I guess fingers are party legal but more than that ruins the mood. But wait, that’s actually part of the ear-girl’s backstory as she has PTSD over these heretofore unseen monsters that are well known to all. Stop, stop. Hold up. Time for a very, very, VEEEEERY long internal narration and aside to explain the team thing……. to be concluded next week. What a mess this show has been. I am already neck deep in next season preview stuff and counting the weeks. I hope you like otaku x gyaru shows.
