How do crowds work anyway.
Impressions:
An unceremonious ending, second season simultaneously announced notwithstanding. Same as before. I find more grace and inspiration in overcoming failure and struggling rather than just pretending like there was failure, and then milking all the past previously unseen failure in flashbacks that was overcome somewhere offscreen. Especially when it comes to art. The attitude that it’s only worth doing for appreciation and success is something that the show keeps coming back to and is entirely the wrong lesson they should be learning, at least as the primary one.
And this one was especially dumb, as she abruptly stopped singing to sell CDs, a more famous band showed up, and she just stood there, staring blankly, waiting until they were halfway through their own concert before trying to play acoustic guitar over an entire band and lamenting that nobody was paying attention to her. Then they told the other band off. And everybody clapped. Well, more like everybody evaporated because just like last week, bystanders appeared and vanished at complete random.
